wu weishan's exhibition

About a month ago, Ms.hadley asked us to go to an exhibition with her. The exhibition was conducted by wu weishan. Who is wu weishan? He is a very famous artist in the world. He is more than 40 years old, he studied art when he was very young. Maybe he is crazy about art. Now, he is the professor in Nanjing university. He had won the very famous prize in britain. At the same, he sculptured for the queen of Holand.
The exhibition was held in the art gallery in Nanjing university. We took a taxi to Nanjing university in the morning. When we went there, we were excited that a lot of statuaries and atrworks were exhibited. As we knew, the big and large artworks were exhibited outside. There were about fifteen artworks outside, include Lao zi, qu yuan, zhu ziqing and the salters were portaged the bags of salt.
At first, Wu weishan was not here, so his scholastic introduced the artworks for us. He was very glad to introduce his mentor's production for us. We were excited and advenced a lot of questions, but he was very bovine and answered our questions as possible as he could. I thought he was friendly and gentle. He is a doctor in fact, he is aslo interested in art and design. So Wu weishan became his mentor. We spent about half an hour visiting the artworks outside.
After we finished visiting the outward atrworks, we went into the atr gallery to visit other
spectaculars. There were more artworks in the gallery. But they were smaller than the outward spectaculars.When I went into the gallery, I saw the sculpture called Sun ce first. He was a overlord in there countries. In these artworks, Lao zi is myfavourite artwork, this is a contemporary artwork. Lao zi was sitting on the bull and thinking something. There is a base under the bull, the artwork is made of bronze, I think it can make the viewers feel mystic. Lao zi and the color of the artwork are relate. In ancient China, Lao zi was a cryptic person. The character was full of mystery. He writed a famous book called Daode jing. Lot of people believed him very much. I also adore him. So I like this artwork very much. I drew it and chose it for my favourite artwork.
When it was 11:35 a.m, we finished visiting all the artworks. Luckily, we ran into the artist,Wu weishan. We took some photos with him and asked some questions. His English was not good and he sent a book to ms.hadley.
At last, we returned to our school, everybody felt very tied but we had a meaningful day.
